Well, that didn’t take long. We were just wondering what happened to Ultraviolet and why. I mean, we love that song. And U2 starts the 3rd leg of their tour and they go 4 whole concerts without playing it? What the hell? Don’t they know we ARE FOLLOWING THIS SHIT ON TWITTER?! Humanigenarians, my ass. Ha… but, here it is, Ultraviolet returns to the set, right after Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me, Kill Me in the encore in Horsens, Denmark on Monday (but not before U2 dropped some other stuff out of the set, wah wah wah…):
If you still feel sad, you know, because well, you weren’t at the show, and yeah you heard it was really good, but you just know in your little heart that it could have been better if only they had played all your favorite songs so you could type them out on your TWEETER … I don’t know, maybe you’ll feel better if you stare at this picture of Bono and a stuffed animal koala bear? (LOOK BELOW. NOW!) Be thankful that koala ain’t real. Or I guess, maybe be the opposite of thankful, if you kinda wish that little bear was about to jump on Bono’s head. (If that is what you are wishing, you are probably Larry crazy, but whatever. Also, please note Edge practicing his guitar playing in the background while Bono chats up the stuffed koala. So perfect.)

I was just thinking the other day that they should put UV back in, just after HMTMKMKM – and like telepathy they did. I did NOT send brainwaves to drop UTEOTW or UF. I can’t take responsibility for that.
I’ve a theory that they’ll only be playing HMTMKMKM while B is still 53 …
even though i love those 2 songs i can handle them dropping ANYTHING on a given night if they switch in something cool like ultraviolet. maybe maybe (please) by the time they get to North America they’ll feel comfortable dropping one or two ATYCLB songs out of the set. who knows who knows …
